Calendula + Lavender Soothing Salve 

 This product is a labor of love.  We start the process each year by planting calendula seeds in early spring.  We eagerly await their growth, but do not use any chemicals or sprays on them.  We harvest the flowers when they bloom and then begin the drying process.  This happens throughout the year, several times. The calendula flowers are then placed into a homemade solar dehydrator and preserved.  We then infuse our homegrown organic calendula flowers into organic almond oil.   Almond oil is very moisturizing & has a soothing effect on dry skin. Calendula has many healing properties for the skin including wound healing and is anti-bacterial & anti-inflammatory.

The calendula takes approximately 4-6 weeks to get fully infused into the almond oil as it extracts all of the healing power the calendula offers.  We then combine the calendula infused almond oil with organic beeswax, organic vitamin E oil, and organic shea butter and organic lavender essential oil and melt them into a liquid form before pouring each salve container. 

This salve provides an extra moisturizing barrier for your skin. It protects your skin from drying out and allows the oils in the salve to soak in to provide ultimate skin healing.

Shea butter is loaded with vitamins A, and E which strengthens your skin, boosts collagen levels and repairs old skin damage.

Vitamin E oil is assisting in healing and reduces scarring when applied to skin. 

Lavender essential oil is added for pain relief, wound healing, anti-inflammatory & antibacterial. 

-Apply sparingly to dry skin. A little goes a long way!

Ingredients- Organic Almond Oil, Organic Beeswax, Organic Calendula, Organic Shea Butter, Organic Vitamin E oil, Organic Lavender Essential Oil. 

-Product will melt so do not leave in a warm area.
